Shiv's Pregnancy

I think Shiv is someone who's afraid of vulnerability and taught to be afraid of vulnerability. And so coming into this scene, this is going to be the most exposing time for her. But also, what is the honest truth in this moment is that her love is very complex and fraught with a kind of loathing and a self-loathing as well for feeling those things. So finding ways to just let that writing carry you was paramount for me coming into it.
