Is This Your Star Wars Movie?

I hate when it's just like, who are you talking to? There needs to be a meta narrative. I was bothered by Jake with the dreads early on because we were just coming into the movie again. It was just like one step too far for a quote unquote appropriation. But Spider, when they're like torturing him and trying to get the information out - he's not your son. He's got all the mind and memories of the other guy and the guy's dead. So he might as well be your son. When the movie touches something that's really interesting when he's like, I'm not him.
