The Ashephed Scavenger's Battle With Keepers
There were only eight keepers, while from first to last, more than forty ramblers took part in the scuffle. One keeper slipped and twisted his ankle; another hit wolfy wynnock over the head with his stick. There will be plenty of bruises in garton and other parts of manchester to night, but no one was at all seriously hurt.
