I think that there's so much information withheld about Tyler precisely so we can wonder. I remember feeling that the bedside table scene was important to kind of somehow make it okay that they were ensconced in the room. That's one of those instances where Jacket Copy really makes things more complex. Or more simple. You don't see it anymore. Like the way you frame or caption it really changes the feel.
