Frederick the Great of Prussia
Great Lives
The Life of Frederick the Great
Frederick the Great was buried at his palace at Sansusi next to his Greyhounds in 1786. In 1945, the Russians came close to that site out of Hitler panicked. He wasn't sure what they would do to his tomb and to his body when they found him. And so they exhumed both of them, took them away into a salt mine where the Americans eventually found them. They were reunited with the Hornsallens in the south of Germany for a while. But often we have a great life where the life continues after the death of the actual person. Yes. I really enjoyed that.
