Why does it matter to have this differing opinion? Why should we break that up? Well, I think there's a couple reasons. One is that you understand the world and what you're being told from a different perspective. If you become someone who is thoughtful about it, you're not as easily manipulated. You start to give yourself a perspective, which actually is better for your mental health.
