A lot of people talk about weight gain when they first start using creatine and like feeling more bloated. The math just doesn't work out for that, so here's how to tell if you're bloating or not. So the molar mass of creatine is 131 grams per mole. If you were a change in creatine of 10 millimoles, that is ten times as many actual grams we're talking about. And it's about 1.3 grams of creatinine per kilogram of muscle. That seems like one and a half pounds of additional creatine in that 22 pound post-supplementation period.
