The New Testament and the New Covenant
In ephesians chap five, verse 25 27, husbands, love your wives as christ loved the church and gave himself up for her that he might sanctify her. Within the wording of such verses, we might hear old testament tic statements concerning the new covenant being echoed. The redemptive, historical under pinnings of all this might be seen on the day of pentecost when christ baptizes his church by the holy spirit. For if any one is in christ, he is a new creation. Behold, the new has come.
