The Music of Crusoe's Joyes

The treatment of friday in robinson crusoe is very much the colonist in charge. Crusoe isn't interested in friday's name, he just teaches him yes and no. Friday can't really speak proper english by the end of the book, it's just pigeon english. The religious aspect of robernson crusoe comes into play as well. He says at one point that friday is, in many ways a better christian than he is. What i always find curious aboutfriday is his deliverance - although perhaps we can find a christian significance in this if we want to.
