The Long Man's Ghost

Stuart was pulled out of the mine by his rescuers. His wife Cheryl and daughter Sarah were there to see him. Stuart couldn't talk, just held them and cried. He thought he'd never see them again - but now here they were. They called questions down like, are you scared? Nah, I'm not scared. I'm fearless. Nothing scares me. It's overcast when they pulled him out; still far warmer than inside the mine. The long man had visited him before: perhaps that was Barry's ghost. Stuck in a minesweeper for 13 years with no food or water. Was hoping for a meat pie on this day.
