What Is an Eating Disorder?

About ten percent of people will experience an eating disorder during their lifetime. Eating disorders are profoundly misunderstood and difficult to treat. You can't tell whether someone has an eating disorder from their weight alone. Treatment usually includes nutritional counselling and monitoring, psycho therapies and medications.
