Introduction

Time travel obliterates one of the necessary plot devices to make a story move forward. Time crunch is what makes characters behave in ways that are believable. In matthew, chapter 24 and 25, jesus is talking about a time crunch. And we have spent quite a bit trying to understand what he's driving at there. If you don't understand the time crunch, the behaviour of the characters through the rest of the new testament doesn't make a lot of sense moving forward.
