How Do First Impressions Make a Big Impact When Building Interpersonal Trust?
The first impressions are actually quite invaluable. Those judgments are made non-consciously, so we're not even aware that we're making those judgments. And very often it takes place in a fraction of a second. So the first millisecond we meet somebody, we can already decide whether that person is likely to be our friend.
