The Importance of Intent in Engaging People
If I had an extremely rigid diet that almost looked bulimic in the way that it would play out in my life and, you know, a more stock standard, if I am approach allowed me to broaden the circle of the foods I eat, take things off the pedestal. That is an objectively better outcome. And now I'm just trying to preach that word to other people like me. From that frame of mind, that's great. However, intent is very important when you start to engage with people. You can't assume people's intent. We don't actually want to live in a democracy. If you treat the world like G.I.
