The Baltic Pipeline Is Not Owned by the US

The pipeline is not owned by the United States. The pipeline has been in the works since 2001 with long periods of dormancy. It's always been an attempt to decrease Europe's dependence on Russian oil. As far back as the beginning of the year, they were estimating October 1st as their partial opening date and full capacity possible by 2023.
