The crew of the Sea Watch vessel had to multitask all the time. "We were making decisions each and every day that were not only filmmaking and creative decisions, but also decisions about how to live that duality of being a humanitarian and a filmmaker simultaneously," he says. The film follows people coming from Libya trying to make it across the Mediterranean Sea.
