Is It Just That Our Natural Language Is Rather Imprecise?

It's inevitable that our language and the concepts with which we think are to some extent vague. We can do something about it, but none of this really eliminates vagueness. For example, if you try to define what it is for somebody to be bold in terms of the number of hairs, then you have to consider questions like how the hairs arranged on their head.
