The Premier League's Cost of Spending
I think there is a Premier League level of spending that is obviously there because of how much Premier League clubs make and generate in revenue. And, you know, it outstrips everybody else in Europe. The reality is if you do want the best players, the best players cost a lot of money unless for some reason they are at the end of a contract or something like that. I just think that sometimes there's a key card or a key piece in the team that means you've got to push the boat out. Arsenal have reached maybe a year or two quicker than they themselves anticipated have reached that point in their trajectory. That's no good if you're trying to make a perfect Manhattan
