I Could Use a Little Anorexia, but I Have Not Been Anorexic, Really?
Jeffrey Jeffrey: I was something of an anomaly, for sure, very early on. My dad and my family in general were just good, solid kind of cultural Catholics. You know, you sort of like to air you breathe in the water you drink but not particularly pious in any intense way. And so they put me into psychoanalysis with this monk analyst who took me through a very dramatic encounter with my dream life and my repressions. It ended up carrying me of the anorexia.
