The Importance of Regrets
We are living in an extraordinary, am I supposed to have one where the answer is? Please, no. Don't ever regret something. You've got plenty of time. We just recently had this extraordinary breakthrough where the accuracy of diagnosing stages of breast cancer is meaningfully better with the tools of machine learning. The ability to see what's going on in my patient's body on a continuous basis rather than just the 15 minutes or 30 minutes there with me, I am that much better. As a cancer survivor myself, I say it's sort of akin to letting doctors have the tools they need to be as effective as possible and spend time with patients the way they want.
