The Effect of Demand on Inflation
Wages and profits are two things that are affecting underlying inflation. What kind of things are pushing firms to put up their profits? And what effect will that have on wages as well? Perhaps also how do people perceive these prices? At what point do they become unwilling to accept higher prices as well? So I think it's very interesting. ECB in the last few years has developed, if you like, what's called the Consumer Expectation Survey.
