The big sleep notoriously had a very complex plot that was very difficult to follow. The story is there's this rich guy named Lebowski who's married to a much younger woman, a kind of trophy wife, as it were. There are two main plot lines if you can call them that: This horrible comedy of errors botched kidnapping and the bowling alley.
