Tips for Preventing Varicile Bleeding
There are a couple of ways that you can prevent this from happening again. You can do a tips procedure on the patient, which is kind of a hot topic. They've been shown to be really helpful in patients who have very high hepatic venous pressure gradients. The most important thing to keep them from bleeding again is to start them on a beta blocker at some point.
