The Origins of the Stonehenge Stones
The Sarsens are more local but do we know first of all where these great stones came from? Well for many many years everyone has said they are local. The most likely places the Morbredowns which is some upland chalk landscapes about 20 miles to the north of Stonehenge. It wasn't until three years ago that we've been able to pinpoint exactly where the Sarsen are from.
