The US-Japan Relationship Has Changed
Japan has a lore now. It took a good lapse for 20 years, and it's restarted in a dramatic way. Because of the actions Japan took on being a full-throttle partner in the efforts of even with Russia's aggression on Ukraine. First country to put down the EU to Europe. The Prime Minister has been an incredible spokesman about shrinking the distance between the transatlantic and the Indo-Pacific. And then Japan, up in the defense budget to 2 percent, and doing certain acquisitions of certain capabilities, like Counter-Strike,. That has garnered it the type of affection in the United States House, and representatives in the Senate, and in the government.
