The Importance of Resistance Training

The stronger you are, the harder it is to be killed. The goal of most people doing resistance exercise is to have a biological age equal to or lower than their chronological age. We see people in their 60s and 70s performing workloads that an average 25 year old would find really challenging if they weren't trained in the same way. There's a big debate going on about whether we do need to reach complete muscular failure the point where we simply can't do any more. But I think getting close is the key.
