Tripp: Find something that you're probably interested in working in every day. When I quit my job to start AppSumo, I was making 100,000 a year. Now I'm making a lot more than that, but it's not going to happen right away. And the one thing I would say is that I have noticed a mentality where even though it's not Uber, like go to Fiverr.com and do work.
