Franklin's wife, deborah, was a skilled tradeswoman and real estate vestment. She helped him start his print shop in philadelphia long before the American dollar became official currency. Franklin wrote an autobiography when they had been apart for almost 30 years. He left eight thousand letters behind that we know of.
