The Temperate Older Man

The temperate older man is able to discern more clearly which things are of greatest importance and value. He uses his time, his money, and his energy more carefully and selectively than when he was younger and less mature. Older guys live by the phrase work smarter, not harder. And so in Job chapter 12, verse 12, we read that wisdom is with aged men with long life is understanding. In Proverbs 1631, a gray head is the crown of glory. It is found in the way of righteousness.
