How Far Back Can We See Galaxies?

With the new james we telescope, we can see just past 13 billion years. We're seeing some of the first galaxies formed. And we still don't really understand exactly what happened. How far back could help a look, but we didn't really know,. Because we saw some very faint galaxies that we thought were super duper old.
