Is Micro-Aggression a Stereotypical Micro-Ggression?
The term micro-ggressions is a term of which I'm slightly skeptical because I think that either something really is an aggression or it's a way of finding an appropriateness in things like giving the elements of style where there really is none. But I guess the question is I can absolutely see a stereotypical micro-aggression when you walk up to an Asian American person, they wear your farm, wear your really farm, etc. Why can't that be expressed within the older language? Is this a failure of liberals to make a room for those critiques and to express them within our own language?
