As they got old enough to understand money, we did thet kind of basics when they were really young. But when they got to a certain age where they started understanding money, wa we decided is, as opposed to giving them a weekly allowance, gave them a yearly allowance. We would very clearly define, this is what we as the parents pay for, and this is what you as the kids pay for. And now you've got a budget yourself for the rest of the year.
