Action vs Facticity

There's got to be an english word that says action or activity, but necessitates that it is like making a choice. Andit necessitates tat its something by conscious being. We used activity. I think that works pretty well for that. But you still could maybe say, as dillon was saying, that when, you know, the magnets come together, then there's activity between them.
