The population of ancient Greece increased by a factor larger than 10 during roughly that same time period. Sparta had a militarily oriented constitution, but aside from its extreme hawkishness, the Spartan constitution promised equality for everyone who was equal. It was really up to Klysthenes to finish the reforms that Solon started.

Thales has left his mark on the planet with his work. As a brilliant sage whose ideas were the beginnings of science, he helped set a trajectory for all future generations of philosophers and scientists.
