Elijah is a type of christ through much of this. You think about the saviour, galgotha on the cross. Definitely the saviour knew about feeling alone. Elijah knows about feeling alone, and he will, will see that again in chapter 19. He remains steadfast and immovable and goes through with whatever the father asks of him. It was dramatic for people who really couldn't make up their minds,. They were ready to blame somebody else for when things went bad. So i'll give credit to this god.
Dr. Camille Fronk Olson returns and explores evil Queen Jezebel’s reign, Elijah’s struggle with discouragement and loneliness, and the still, small voice in times of trial.
