Aristotle's Ethics

Aristotle's probably the first person to call this subject Aethica and that means literally the study of character. As Aristotle looks out at it, it's an aspect of political science. It's the most general aspect in that it tries to discover the ultimate good for a human being. We need various things and in particular virtues of character.
