I'dRather a State Do It, Than the Federal Government

There was an interesting proposal. to develop a pilot digital dollar technology that replicates the privacy respecting features of physical, physical ash. The bill would have been issued by a treasury and not by the fed. Since you can still use your former diital money, but go with cash, it's better than nothing. It is also for the same reason good that states have the opportunity to really screw up their bit coin policy. Because i'd rather a state do it and kind of have that empirical example to learn from instead of the federal government.
