The Future of Things, Where Do You Think We Need the Most Work?

In the future of things, where do you think we need the most work? I now we've talked about maybe the data generation process. Is that really the limiting reactant? Tin the more interesting and perhaps important question is really, what do we want asociety? Do we want these data to be owned by us? Or should there be some sort of duty to act for these companies fixus? There is no real incentive structure right now or requirement for the companies to ever share these data.
