i had always associated fitness with being big and like having a lot of muscle. And so suddenly i started to think of calories a little bit differetly. It wasn't like every ti extra 500 calory bowl of cereal i could eat in the morning that i used to insist on eating if i was trying to get fit. I realise i could cut that out, and i could also, you know, not eat until noon or whatever - and then actually be eating fewer caloris than i had before. Its just thinking about dieting in a different way has worked realy well for me.
