The Paris Peace Conference and the Onschluss
The Versailles Treaty would officially end the war between Germany and other nations. Plans were made to start working through all the various details that would need to be considered when it actually happened. The three most important nations involved, Britain, France, and the United States had slightly different views on the possible onschluss. There was some uncertainty among the German and Austrian governments about the best course of action.
