The Importance of Setting Time Expectations

A lot of times as communicators, we think that we are at the center of our audience's world. I am not. So here's what I think it is. For me anyway, I think I have to remember as a communicator, I am not at thecenter of my audience’s world. Yes. 100% Andy Stanley years ago said we should set time expectations for church services. When I go to a play, like on Broadway or downtown Toronto or something, I want to know when am I going to be out of here? I get upset. And if it's short, if it goes a minute longer, I get irritated.
