The Importance of Agent-Based Systems

I think what you're starting to see is you need to have data about how humans feel about things. We don't see humans as acting like agents in the way that you see with termites, or, yeah, human attitudes are fascinating. And also, by the way, we also use abstraction. I mean, abstraction comes before language in human evolution. If you want to understand humans, you've got to work through semiotics more than text. It's perfectly possible to build agent-based systems that do eat, adapt and do have something like attitudes that are dynamic and emergent from the meme space.
