What's Up With the Satellites?

Jonathan mc dowell is an astro physicist at the harvard smithsonian centre for astro physics. He says that, far from the vision of space many people have as empty and eerily calm, several hundred kilometers of earth are whizzing around at incredible speeds. The most common uses for satellites are for communications or relaying data from things like your smart devices in your home. And a lot of theinformation we have on climate change comes from satellites which can take a global view of the earth.
