China is using seven point five million gigawod hours of electricity per year, which is almost a third of the world's total electricity usage. Despite this, their economy is, for now smaller than mericas and certainly much smaller than all these other economies combined. Is this a case of richer countries naturally using more energy to power more luxurious life styles? Or is it that countries with more power naturally become richer? How do you explain this?
