The Totalization of Identity in Trans-Active Organizations
There's just no context in which you shouldn't concede to someone's identity claim about themselves. And I think that's very common, like there's just no core to given. The other thing is this demand for validation of identities is so individualistic. Does it matter what's going on at the level of nature or culture even? It's not about social construction in any traditional sense but how people should relate to you. That's almost apolitical as far as I can see,. It's also about cultural identity.
