Do You Need a Revenue R&D Department?
There are other tools out there to understand how many reps are hitting quota at companies, which I think is an interesting indicator for marketing success. At our company, we've established what I believe is the first revenue R&D department. We have a stream of that that is really focused on category level marketing. And then where you would have significant headcount and investments in a marketing function, we have that in a revenue R & D function.
