The Supreme Court's Decision on Gay and Transgender Rights Is a Textualist Majority Opinion
A title seven is a law that says you can't discriminate n against anyone on the basis of their sex. And it's actually a textualist decision, which is why a lot of people, and gorsich wrote the majority opinion. My instinct with that was that gorsuchs is surprisingly ampathetic to the plight of algeb t people,. As long as that plight is not conflicting with religious principles. That's what i took from that. I cannot believe how overblown the reaction on all sides was to this case.
