Portrait of Gena by Orson Wells
orson wells made a short film, originally called viva italia, but sometimes called portrait of gena. He appears on camera in the short documentary, which was intended to be aired on a b c television in the us. The film almost seems designed as wells's way of trolling hollywood companies that had, in wells's mind, him into exile. And it's easy see why it wasn't appropriate for a main stream t v network, then making bank on shows like gun smoke and mavereck.
