Easter Is Not as Big as Christmas

Easter eggs, traditionally an act of charity for the poor, became a treat for children. It didn't have the literary par machine behind it that christmas did. By the 18 sixties, references to easter were half that of christ and by the year two thousand, christmas is referenced four times more often than easter. Its theological significance intact, has maintained its status as a religious holiday.
