How to Communicate With Animals Like Chimpanzees

I want to see what Joan thinks about learning from and understanding animals like like chimps, for example. When you study animals like chimpanzees, which are very similar to us, you also learn that they have gestural communication. And some of these gestures are really similar to our own. So I think that our relationships with other animals are a process of this two way communication. It makes total sense that we don't just learn what animals mean from the noises they make, but also from their their body language. This shows us one way of how humans can communicate with animals and how these stories of wild children might actually be possible.
